Core responsibilities
- Manage media budgets and lead the development, approval and execution of all media plans
- Primary client contact for media related inquiries; providing education, guidance, and direction on all media related matters
- Manage media finances to ensure all campaigns are pacing correctly
- Work with external partners/vendors to ensure campaigns run smoothly and efficiently
- Support the Accounts team in delivering campaign plans and proposals
- Work directly with the Creative team to help implement industry best practices
- Day-to-day maintenance and optimization of all digital campaigns
- Pitch new business with senior management team
- Stay current with industry trends, direction, and opportunities
- Share knowledge with client stakeholders and internal teams by providing information regarding requested changes, their impact, as well as recommended implementation approach and methodology
- Analyze past and current campaign/media performance to assess ROI, impact, importance and future opportunities
Requirements
- University degree or College diploma for Marketing, Media, Business, Technology or similar discipline
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Digital Marketing/Media
- Full understanding and previous experience managing all types of media campaigns; TV, Radio, Print, OOH, Display, Programmatic, Native, Video, SEM, SEO, Paid Social
- Full understanding and previous experience managing campaigns in Google Ads and Facebook Business Manager
- Experience with a range of media-related platforms is essential, including: Ad Servers, DSPs, DMPs, DCO, Ad Verification, Ad Exchanges, Ad Networks, Sharing/Social tools
- Experience working directly with internal/external clients in a face-to-face environment
- Experience working with publishers, agencies and external vendors
- Demonstrates organizational, interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
- Media and marketing platform experience is an asset
- Digital media management experience is an asset
- Ad Operations experience is an asset
- Working knowledge of development process and project management is an asset
